YANGON, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported 201 more new COVID-19 cases on Sunday morning, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
The newly confirmed cases brought the number of infection cases of COVID-19 in the country to 2,796 in total.
A total of 191,696 tests were conducted for COVID-19 so far and 9,165 patients are currently under investigation, the ministry's figures said.
According to the ministry's figures, 676 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
Myanmar reported its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on March 23 with 16 deaths being reported so far.
