HANOI, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported on Wednesday that a patient in the country has tested positive again for COVID-19 after a full recovery, Vietnam News Agency reported.
The total number of COVID-19 patients retested positive after recovery in the country has reached nine as of Wednesday morning.
The patient is a 45-year-old Brazilian expat in the southern Ho Chi Minh City whose husband also contracted the virus. Both of them had been declared all-clear of the virus and returned home for self-quarantine before they retested positive.
Vietnam has reported a total of 270 confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 221 were cured, with no deaths reported in the country so far, according to the Ministry of Health.
