BRUNEI, March 10 (Borneo Bulletin) - Brunei's Ministry of Health today announced that 5 close contacts of the first COVID-19 case in Brunei have tested positive for the virus.

The preliminary positive results were from the first case’s wife and two children and his friend, as well as the friend’s son.

Brunei's MoH said that the first case attended a mass religious gathering at Masjid Jamek in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with three travel companions on 27 Feb 2020.

They returned to Brunei on Mar 3 2020 through Miri on Air Asia Flight AK5651.
