SEOUL, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- Three fishermen were found deed and one went missing as a South Korean fishing boat capsized in waters off South Korea's southern resort island of Jeju, Yonhap news agency reported Monday.
The 24-ton fishing vessel reported to the police at about 6:05 a.m. local time that it was being submerged. Aboard the ill-fated vessel were 14 fishermen.
A total of 13 sailors were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital. One was unaccounted for.
Three fishermen, all in their 60s, were confirmed dead at the hospital, to which they were transported unconscious.
The search operation had difficulty because of high waves and strong wind, Yonhap said.
