GOMA, DR Congo, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- A plane carrying about 18 people crashed in a peripheral area of Goma City, North Kivu province in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), sources told Xinhua on Sunday.
The plane, operated by the local company Busy Bee, crashed failed to take off and crash into houses, according to the governor of North Kivu in eastern DR Congo.
No passengers survived, according to airport officials.
This airline company organizes scheduled flights in the northeastern part of the country, especially the city of Beni, Butembo and its peripherals.
