BEIJING, Nov. 20 (CGTN) -- China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Wednesday strongly condemned the passing of the so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act by the U.S. Senate.

China strongly condemns and resolutely opposes the bill which shows apparent interference in China's internal affairs and serious violation of international law and basic norms governing international relations.
