BANGKOK, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Her Majesty Queen Mother Sirikit has recovered from illness and returned to palace on Tuesday, said an announcement by the Bureau of the Royal Household.
The Queen Mother has had a respiratory infection and had been admitted at Chulalongkorn Hospital for treatment, the Bureau of the Royal Household said in the announcement.
Then, the Queen Mother has recovered without a fever, has not coughed very much, could speak and eat, doctors at the hospital were quoted as saying.
She returned from the hospital to Chitralada Palace on Tuesday, according to the bureau.
