LONDON , July 23 - Boris Johnson, the ebullient Brexiteer who has promised to lead Britain out of the European Union with or without a deal by Halloween, will replace Theresa May as prime minister after winning the leadership of the Conservative Party on Tuesday.
Boris Johnson has defeated Jeremy Hunt in the race to be the Conservative party leader and will be Britain's next prime minister.
The frontrunner will now make his first speech as Conservative leader, before taking over as PM on Wednesday.
