SEOUL, July 23 (CGTN) -- The South Korean military on Tuesday fired warning shots at a Russian military aircraft after it entered South Korean airspace, Yonhap news agency reported, quoting military officers.
The aircraft twice violated South Korean airspace off its east coast in breach of international treaties, according to officers from the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
It was the first time a Russian military aircraft had violated South Korean airspace, the report said.
