NEW DELHI, June 12 (Xinhua) -- India will launch its second moon mission Chandrayaan-2 on July 15 at 02:51 a.m. local time from Sriharikota in southern state of Andhra Pradesh, announced Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K. Sivan on Wednesday.
The mission's "Orbiter" will travel around 382,000 km before the Lander makes its final landing on Sept. 6 or Sept. 7, Sivan said while addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, the capital city of southern state of Karnataka.
