SEOUL, May 9 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired unidentified projectiles eastward from its northwestern region at about 4:30 p.m. local time (0730 GMT) Thursday, Yonhap and Newsis news agencies reported citing South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
