Phnom Penh (FN), July 5 – Fresh News CEO Lim Chea Vutha, on Thursday, held a special interview with Cambodian former diplomat chief Hor Namhong over former opposition leader Sam Rainsy’s new treason case.

Lim Chea Vutha: H.E, what do you think about Rainsy’s calling on armed forces to rebel against the government?

Deputy Prime Minister: I think this is a new form of color revolution and that is a new treason case of Rainsy. I think we should have legal action against such act. This color revolution is another failure of Rainsy. He hoped, he expected, he demanded, but he failed and failed. All armed forces and police are behind Prime Minister Hun Sen, support the Royal Government of Cambodia, and today’s peace and development. Our people are having fun, as the election approaches; they enjoy peace nationwide and Cambodia has developed on all sectors, promoting living standards of people of all walks of lives, including government officials, armed forces, garment workers, and farmers. It is good that the court decided to dissolve the opposition party, CNRP; otherwise, our country would not be peaceful. Without peace, no development. It is good that the court dissolved the party; arrested one leader, and another one in exile.
