Phnom Penh (FN), July 3 - Department of Investigation and Procedure of the General Department of Immigration, on 2-3 July 2018, detained 24 foreigners, two female, with four nationalities, including Vietnam, China, Morocco and Nigeria.

Sok Phal, General Director of the General Department of Immigration, said the suspects were arrested for illegally crossing the border and using illegal travelling documents.

The operation was led by the deputy prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court in cooperation with the Phnom Penh police, the general added.

Those foreigners were sent to the General Department of Immigration for further legal procedure.
