Phnom Penh (FN), July 3 – Cambodian Minister of Defense Tea Banh, on Tuesday, advised all units under the Ministry of Defense not to bring any cars, clothing, or other military equipment to participate in the upcoming election campaign, speaking at the first semester meeting of Ministry of Defense 2018 held on Tuesday morning at the ministry.

Chhum Socheat, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, said that Minister of Defense’s advice was made in accordance with the Law on Cambodia's National Elections.

The July's election will be held on July 29, 2018. All the 20 political parties will participate in the 21 days of electoral campaign from July 7 to July 27, 2018.
