Phnom Penh (FN), July 1 - In June 2018 alone, the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) granted licenses for companies to build 13 new factories in Cambodia, worth of approximately $2 billion in total, creating 18,992 jobs, according to the CDC’s report on Sunday.

GRFOOD (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: a project to establish a factory producing processed meat located at National Highway 51, Oudong District, Kampong Speu Province, has a capital of approximately $30.4 million and can create 661 jobs.
HAI SHENG STEEL CO., LTD.: a project to establish a factory manufacturing all kinds of steel factory located in Kong Pisey District, Kampong Speu Province, has a capital of approximately $31 million and can create 106 jobs.
KAMPONG SPEU PLANTATION CO.,LTD.: a project to establish a sugarcane agro-industrial processing plant located in Kampong Speu Province, has a capital of approximately $85 million and can create 2,290 jobs.
SCHNEITEC ENERGY CO.,LTD.: a project to construct 115-km transmission line from Siem Reap to Oddar Meanchey with sub stations in Phnom Penh and Oddar Meanchey, has a capital of approximately $80.6 million and can create 413 jobs.
NAN HAI REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT CO.,LTD.: a project to establish 500-room Five Star Hotels and Business Center projects located in Sihanoukville, has a capital of approximately $86.5 million and can create 1,848 jobs.
HEIN LI PROPERTIES CO., LTD.: a project to build 149-room hotels and resorts located in Sihanoukville, has an investment of about $39 million and can create 241 jobs.
LYLY KAMEDA CO., LTD.: a project to establish a factory of instant noodle and snack factories located in Phnom Penh, has a capital of approximately $9 million and can create 153 jobs.
CAPITAL MINERAL RESOURCES INVESTMENT CO., LTD.: a projectto set up a stone processing plant located in Stung Treng province, has a capital of approximately $11.93 million and can create 73 jobs.
Cambodian PPSHV Expressway Co., Ltd.: a project to construct a highway from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville, has an investment of $1.8 billion and create 9,515 jobs
ROYAL CERA CO., LTD.: a project to build tile factory located in Kampot province, has a capital of approximately $ 15.36 million and can create 1,224 jobs.
TROPICAL FRUIT ASIA (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: a project to build fruit processing factory located in Kandal province, has a capital of approximately $6.47 million and can create 380 jobs.
