Phnom Penh (FN), June 29 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that he will announce some policies for national development during the upcoming 6th National Assembly election campaign to be held from 7 - 27 July 2018, speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of Chom Chao Roundabout Flyover Bridge near Phnom Penh airport on Friday.
“On 7 July, I will announce some policies that will benefit our people. Some policies are already studied, while some are still reviewing for more details," said Prime Minister Hun Sen.
The premier aimed to reduce the size of the unnecessary canals to enlarge arable land; the required canals for irrigation will be cemented, but will be carried out after 2030.
While promoting salaries for workers, the government also seeks ways to reduce the workers’ expense by exempting them from or reducing certain taxes.
He urged citizens to vote for the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) with a logo of an angel scattering flowers, ordered 20th on the ballot paper, in order to maintain peace and ensure Cambodia's further development and prosperity.
The July's election will be held on July 29, 2018 with the participations of 20 political parties.
