Phnom Penh (FN), June 29 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen congratulated Japanese football team to get selected as one of the 16 teams in FIFA World Cup 2018 hosted by Russia, speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of Flyover Bridge at Chom Chao Roundabout near Phnom Penh airport on Friday.

"Congratulations to Japan, who passed to the 16-team for World Cup 2018 in Russia,” said Prime Minister Hun Sen.

“Japan and Senegal are equal in terms of points. However, Japan received only four yellow cards which was better compared to Senegal's five yellow cards,” he added.

Japan is the only hope for Asia to win the tournament for the 2018 World Cup among the five Asian teams to pass to 16-team representing Asia, including Iran and Australia, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea.
