Phnom Penh (FN), June 27 - Cambodian Associations based in Australia and New Zealand recently requested the Japanese ambassadors to Australia and New Zealand to support Cambodia's electoral process to strengthen democracy, according to two separate letters both dated on June 25, 2018.

The intervention of the associations came after a handful of opposition demonstrators protested against the support of Japan for the election process in Cambodia, which kill Cambodia’s democracy.
