Phnom Penh (FN), June 26 - Cambodian member of parliament of Kompong Speu constituency Hun Many said that the strong relations between Cambodia and China will never change, but cemented from day to day, particularly during Prime Minister Hun Sen and President Xi Jinping terms.

His remark was made on Tuesday morning when he led a group of Cambodian volunteer doctors with a team of specialists from Jiangsu Province, China to provide free treatment for about 800 people in Phnom Penh's Por Sen Chey with the presence of Chinese commercial counsellor LI Jie.

According to Hun Many, Cambodia-China will celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomacy on 2 July 2018, incepted by King Father Norodom Sihanouk.

"China's support for Cambodia is an essential element of cooperation and for the livelihoods of Cambodian and Chinese people,” said LI Jie.

He added that in the future, the Chinese side will continue to support Cambodia's public health, and hygiene improvement to support the livelihoods of Cambodians; promote the development Chinese-Cambodian friendship and mutual benefits.

Hun Many's volunteer team has provided free treatment for 153 times over the past six years, treating over 320,000 people.
