Phnom Penh (FN), June 22 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, on Friday, received a courtesy call of Sudiman Haseng, the newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Friday at Phnom Penh Peace Palace.
The ambassador expressed commitment to taking Cambodia-Indonesia relations to another level on top of the existing bilateral, multilateral, regional, and international cooperation.
He also emphasized Indonesian initiative to launch Cambodia-Indonesia direct flight.
According to Prime Minister Hun Sen, 2018 marks 60th anniversary of Cambodia-Indonesia diplomacy. He recommended a joint ceremony to commemorate and reflect both countries' relations.
He also requested ambassador to examine the possibility of all-sector cooperation, particularly on economy, trade, and tourism.
