Phnom Penh (FN), June 22 - Cambodian Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith, on Friday, reacted to Australian government for criticizing Cambodia’s measures taken to prevent non-interferences into her internal affairs.
The reaction was made when the Australian government drafted law to prevent foreign interference into the internal affairs of Australia.
“The Australian Parliament will adopt "The Espionage and Foreign Interference Bill" which aims to prevent foreign interference into Australian politics, focusing on interfering with electoral process (incentives and media supports to political parties)," Khieu Kanharith wrote on his Facebook on Friday.
“Australia drafted laws to prevent her political parties from engaging with and receiving foreign aids; but she criticized Cambodia’s measures against a party that publicly announced to be supported by a foreigner," he added.
It seemed that when the superior did something wrong, no criticisms is made; and when the inferior did something wrong, punishment will follow, he continued.
