Phnom Penh (FN), June 5 – Presiding over the graduation ceremony of students from Royal School of Administration on Tuesday morning, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the use of technologies, especially in banking system and public services, has reduced corruption in Cambodia.
Banking service technology has reduced the expenses of the national budget from remunerating to inactive officials and soldiers. It also prevents the service providers from seeing the service seekers, thus result in reduced corruption.
The premier added that all data must be included in the smart phone system, pointing out that he could always monitor the national income wherever he goes.
Ministry of Public Works and Transport uses IT system for vehicle registrations.
Senior Minister Sun Chanthol of Public Works and Transport stated that after the launch of the system, it has reduced the unofficial expenses of citizens, and preventing the practice the nepotism in choosing favorable license plates.
