Beijing (FN), June 4 - China Global Television Network (CGTN), the Chinese renowned global media outlet, announced to partner with Cambodia's Fresh News news agency to expand coverage of one another.

The cooperation initiated following the visit of Lim Chea Vutha, Founder and CEO of Fresh News (FN) news agency to CGTN based in Beijing, China under the framework of "The First Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media Summit" with other mainstream media from 17 other countries.

The CEO said that CGTN is a well-known Chinese media outlet publishing content in eight languages.

Vutha expressed his gratitude to the CGTN for collaborating with Fresh News, which will further strengthen the relationship between the two nations.

He added that Cambodia-China cooperation has also been expanding through media and information sector.

On behalf of Cambodian media outlets, Lim Chea Vutha participated in a major media international conference “SCO Media Summit" with representatives from India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Nepal, Turkey and Sri Lanka.

The SCO Media Summit, held in Beijing, China, gathered delegates of media outlets from 18 countries to engage in an in-depth exchanges of views on jointly strengthening media exchanges and cooperation within the SCO framework.
