Phnom Penh (FN), June 3 - The Anti-Human Trafficking Department of the National Police Commissariat has cracked down on four brokers who trafficked 30 Cambodian women to China by mean of marriage since 2014.

The crackdown was coordinated by Sieng Sok, deputy prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court (PPMC).

According to the investigation, the suspects paid from $5,000 to $10,000 for each woman to marry chinese men in China.

The authorities confiscated two cars, $9,500 and 8 mobile phones, and sent the four suspects to PPMC for further legal action.
