Phnom Penh (FN), June 1 – The General Department of Taxation (GDT) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance issued a notice on Thursday to collect tax from all transport and vehicle owners for 2018, starting from June 1 to November 30, 2018.

During the tax collection, the owner of the vehicles must attach some documents, including vehicle identification or vehicle technical inspection certificate issued by Ministry of Public Works and Transport, import tax receipts or certification of the use of vehicles issued by communes, copy of ID card or passport or certificate of birth of the vehicle owner, according to the notice.

GDT added that no tax declaration form needed if the vehicles had already received the tax exemption certificates.
