Phnom Penh (FN), May 29 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen appealed for foreigners not to destroy Cambodia who had tried so hard revive.

The premier added that Cambodia has the rights to make decisions as an independent and sovereign state, speaking at the dinner with approximately 5,000 Muslims at Phnom Penh’s Koh Pich Center on Tuesday evening.

“Until now, some people still want to sabotage Cambodia [...] we had suffered enough from the past, so please do not try to destroy us. I only ask for the right to decide as an independent and sovereign state,” said the premier.

“Do not view just one tree, but the whole forest. Likewise, do not judge Cambodia from just a single perspective” he added.

He reiterated that development and harmony prevails only in a peaceful country.
