SINGAPORE, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Kim Chang Son, a senior official at the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the leader of DPRK's official delegation, showed up in Singapore on Tuesday.
Xinhua photographer watched him step out of Singapore's Fullerton hotel and leave in a black Benz car. Other delegation members left the hotel in a white minibus.
Officials of the United States and DPRK met in Singapore on Tuesday. The leader of the U.S. delegation is Joseph Hagin, a deputy White House chief of staff. The officials from both sides were reportedly to discuss the security and protocol issues for the potential summit between the U.S. and the DPRK leaders, and make decisions on the arrangements for the summit.
