Canada (FN), April 19 – In his interview with Bloomberg TV in Canada on Cambodia’s stance on South China Sea disputes, Prime Minister Hun Sen’s eldest son, Hun Manet said Cambodia supports the principle of peace and mutual understanding to avoid any confrontation.

“Cambodia supports and encourages all ASEAN nations to cooperate with China to solve the issues timely before it becomes very big,” Manet said in the interview.

“It is for this reason Cambodia has been calling on all parties involved in the disputes to solve the problems by peaceful means rather than military forces that would only make things worse. Cambodia’s goal is to preserve peace for future prosperity,” he added.
