Phnom Penh (FN), May 25 - With the approval and support from the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Hang Chuon Naron, Hanamaru Lab will launch its second phase project called the "Think! Think!" for grade one to grade four students at Wat Krous Primary School in Phnom Penh through the use learning application installed on smart device to contribute to the promotion of Cambodian education.

Kei Kawashima, chief executive officer of Hanamaru Lab, said that Think! Think! focused on providing guidance on capacity building, thinking ability, problem solving and understanding of reasonings.

The program was created by Japanese math experts and was chosen as the best software for children by the Google Play Award 2017.

He expects to introduce a new curriculum with the new Tablet Study Kit to Cambodia, which will help Cambodian students to think in a faster way.

"This is a new software we build on iOS and Android and put it on Tablets for kids to study instead of books. It features math exercises to improve thinking through practices, supported by the Ministry of Education and JICA," he said.

The three-month project targets at five schools in Phnom Penh, Kandal and Kompong Cham province, from grade 1 to grade 4 with a 30-minute class per day.

He hopes to expand this program throughout Cambodia to improve Cambodian children's critical thinking.

Hanamaru Lab's learning application has been downloaded 400,000 times globally.
