Phnom Penh (FN), May 21 – Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen was nominated by the 2nd Asian and European Political Forum (AEPF) as an honorary founding chairperson of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC), an affiliated institution of International Conference for Asia Political Party (ICAPP), according to the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP)’s press release on Monday.
The 2nd Asia Europe Political Forum (AEPF), co-chaired by the CPP and the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group was successfully concluded on May 18, 2018, with a London communiqué.
The CPP was represented by Honorable Khuon Sudary while the ECR was represented by Honorable Geoffrey Van Orden.
A London Communiqué was adopted and reaffirmed the shared objectives of peace and sustainable development for the citizens of both continents. The Forum recognized trade and regional connectivity as an effective tool for promoting partnership between Asia and Europe.
