Phnom Penh (FN), May 18 - The National Election Committee (NEC) appealed for eligible voters who are working or studying abroad to return to vote on July 29, 2018 from 7 a.m to 3p.m, according to the NEC's announcement dated on May 14 that Fresh News received on Friday.

To vote, citizens need to bring with them identity card or other identification documents.

According to the Ministry of Labor, currently over one million Cambodians are working abroad.

The NEC estimates that the total population of Cambodia is 15.8 million with 9.7 million eligible voters. However, 1.4 million have yet registered.
