Phnom Penh (FN), May 16 - Fresh News, one of the leading online media outlets in Cambodia, celebrated its 4th year anniversary on Tuesday.
Fresh News was officially launched on May 15, 2014 with advanced technology in providing information such as notifying news to readers. This means that readers can get instant news on smartphones and other devices such as iPads and tablets by installing the Fresh News app.
Fresh News has expanded its scope by featuring English-language and Chinese-language versions, and its coverage to Fresh News TV Online, Fresh News Radio and Fresh News Facebook with 2.6 million followers.
Fresh News also established www.khmertalking.com to provide news on arts, sports and health, and also has a live interview with Cambodian celebrities.
"Fresh News Not Silent Keep Moving" is a slogan inspired by the 38-year-old founder and CEO of Fresh News, Lim Chea Vutha.
"Creating a new achievement is easy, but maintaining that achievement is a difficult thing,” said the CEO.
Lim Chea Vutha stated that this achievement would not have been possible without the contributions from Fresh News' heads and staffs of all levels.
Lim Chea Vutha stated that in order to keep the staffs motivated, he provided a decent salary and budget for working overtime to stabilize and improve their living standard .
Celebrating the four-year anniversary of Fresh News, Lim Chea Vutha thanked staffs, partners, and readers for supporting and trusting Fresh News.
The CEO also thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia, the Armed Forces, the Civil Society Organizations and all the political parties in Cambodia for their collaborations to provide information to Fresh News.
