Phnom Penh (FN), May 8 – Okhna Hong Piv, CEO of Piphup Tmeii Group, donated $1.28 million to The Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), the largest humanitarian organization in Cambodia.

The donation was made on Tuesday, as CRC hosted a fundraising event to celebrate the 155th Anniversary of World Red Crescent Day, May 8, 2018, presided over by Prime Minister Hun Sen and CRC’s president Bun Rany Hun Sen.

On May 8, 2016, Hong Piv also donated $1.28 million to the Red Cross. On top of that, he has donated a great amount of $2.1 million to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital to save the lives of children in Cambodia for 2018.

Hong Piv has also supported other charities in Cambodia and received great support from the public for his generosity.
