Phnom Penh (FN), May 4 - The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) granted licenses to four companies to establish factories, worth of approximately $20 million in total, creating 1,000 jobs, according to the CDC’s report on Thursday.

MASSFLAME ENERGY (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: a project to establish a biogas plant located in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, has a capital of approximately $1 million and can create 101 jobs.

HIRO-TECH PRODUCT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: a project to establish all plastic box manufacturing and electronic equipment facilities located in the Poipet Special Economic Zone, Banteay Meanchey Province, has a capital of approximately $3.4 million and can create 772 jobs.

HAITIAN BEVERAGE (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: a project to establish a clean water treatment plant located in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, has a capital of $ 5.1 million and can create 628 jobs.

SVF FIT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: a project to establish a pipe installation product located in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, has a capital of $7 million and can create 126 jobs.

The CDC, on Wednesday, granted licenses to ten companies to establish factories, warehouse, and trade center, worth of approximately $130 million in total, creating 11,915 jobs, according to the CDC’s April report.
