Phnom Penh (FN), May 2 – The Union of Journalist Federations of Cambodia (UJFC) issued a press release to celebrate “World Press Freedom Day 2018” on May 3, 2018 with journalists from around the world.

“UJFC calls on national and international journalists working in Cambodia to fight fake news; to avoid becoming poisonous political campaign, predatory politics, dark ideology, using derogatory words and inciting personal and institutional conflicts,” UJFC wrote in the press release dated on Wednesday.

“UJFC also calls on national and international media to share accurate and comprehensive reporting on Cambodia national election process in July 2018”.
