Phnom Penh (FN), May 1 - Nhek Bun Chhay has left jail since Monday night due to health problem, according to Pich Yun, Director of PJ Prison.

"Nhek Bun Chhay left since last night as his blood pressure surged, thus we allowed him to leave for health purpose," Pich Yun said.

Phnom Penh Municipal Court decided on Monday to release Nhek Bun Chhay on bail, according to the court's order dated on Monday.

Nhek Bun Chhay, President of Khmer National United Party, was arrested on August 3, 2017, charged of conspiring in drug cases committed on April 1, 2007 in Kompong Speu province.
