Japan (FN), April 28 - Hun Manet, Lieutenant General in Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, on Friday, had a lunch meeting with Japan-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship League in Japan, headed by Masahiro Imamura, Secretary General of the League.

The meeting highly commended the on-going Cambodia-Japan cooperation on all sectors, particularly the daily Tokyo-Phnom Penh direct flight.

The strengthened relation between the two nations has brought benefits on economic and tourism sectors to both nations.

Manet is on a five-day trip to Japan from April 24 to 29, 2018, at the invitation of the Japanese government to strengthen and deepen the understanding of Cambodian-Japanese bilateral relations under Program for Strategic Exchanges on Practical Level-STEP.

During his visit, Hun Manet will pay a courtesy call on senior leaders of Japanese government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Self-Defense Forces, Liberal Democratic Party, and other Japanese dignitaries and parliamentarians.
