HONG KONG, April 23 (Xinhua) -- A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted off eastern Indonesia on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, which occurred at 0813 GMT, was centered 282 km northwest of Abepura, with a depth of 10.0 km.
