Phnom Penh (FN), April 18 - Counting from April 14-16, 2018, over five million of local and international tourists visited Cambodia's tourist destinations, according to the Ministry of Tourism's report on Wednesday.

The report illustrated that 1.82 million tourists visited Siem Reap in 2018 to enjoy Angkor Sangkranta event, an increase of 15% compared to 2017, which was 1.78 million.

In total, Cambodia welcomed 5.2 million tourists for the whole Khmer New Year, an increase of 23% compared to the same period in 2017, which was 4.2 million.
