Phnom Penh (FN), April 9 - A major Chinese firm investing in real estate in Cambodia, Prince Real Estate Group, plans to increase investment in Cambodia's real estate industry to $5 billion in the next 10 years to meet the demand for construction.
Li Min, Prince Real Estate Group’s representative, said in Khmer New Year celebration and the 3rd anniversary of the company on Monday that their presence of more than three years in the property market in the Kingdom has developed rapidly, including projects for condominium buildings and land in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville with a total investment of more than $ 1.2 billion.
The company employs approximately 600 people, and has 360 hectares of land for future development.
Pen Sophal, Secretary of State of Ministry of Urban Planning, congratulated the success of the company for the investment in real estate in Cambodia, a booming sector nowadays and will continue to grow in the future.
