Phnom Penh (FN), March 29 - A joint military exercise called “Golden Dragon” between Chinese and Cambodian troops in Kampong Speu ended on Thursday.
The closing ceremony this morning was presided over by Minister of National Defense Tea Banh and Zhou Songhe, Deputy Commander of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and the participation of government officials, senior officials of the defense forces of the two countries.
In the closing ceremony, a joint Chinese-Cambodian troops will present their exercise trainings, including the use of drones to investigate geopolitical area, the use of helicopters and artillery to destroy terrorist camps, rescue hostages, and other humanitarian affairs.
The “Golden Dragon” exercise started on March 17, 2018, with the participation of 280 Cambodian troops and 190 Chinese troops.
The military exercise is to exchange experience between the two countries' troops to celebrate the convening of the 60-year diplomatic relations between the two countries.
