Phnom Penh (FN), March 28 - Cambodian People's Party (CPP)'s spokesman Sok Eysan, on Wednesday, confirmed that there was no possibilities that the ruling party would negotiate with traitors, neither Sam Rainsy nor Kem Sokha.
The statement was made when Sam Rainsy tweeted to request Prime Minister Hun Sen to negotiate with Kem Sokha if the premier did not want to negotiate with him.
"If Hun Sen does not want to speak with Sam Rainsy, he can still speak with Kem Sokha, with Eang Chhai Eang, with Mu Sochua, with civil society or journalists ,“ Sam Rainsy wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.
“Too late for negotiation, as Prime Minister Hun Sen has previously mentioned that the former opposition has gone beyond the red line”,” said CPP’s spokesman.
Recently, Prime Minister Hun Sen announced not to hold any dialogues nor negotiations with Sam Rainsy, former opposition leader, to revive Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) and 118 former CNRP political members.
Prime Minister Hun Sen has shut the door on the possibility of negotiations, as Sam Rainsy continued to attack him, insulted his family, and has called for the army to overthrow the government.
