Phnom Penh (FN), March 14 – Approximately 1.2 million Cambodian people are currently work abroad as of today, according to the Ministry of Labor’s Annual Conference 2017 result on Tuesday.

According to the result, 1,056,358 Cambodian workers is in Thailand, followed by 44,229 in S. Korea, 30,000 in Malaysia, 6,000 in Japan, 487 in Singapore, and 15 in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, at least 32,512 foreigners, 93 nationalities, working in 3,969 institutions are in Cambodia as of today, according to Sok Phal, Director-General of Immigration Department.
