Phnom Penh (FN), March 7 - Ministry of Interior (MoI)'s spokesman Khieu Sopheak said on Wednesday that MoI is considering to take legal action against Sam Rainsy for signing to hand four Cambodia’s provinces, including Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie, Stung Treng to Vietnam.
"I have seen the signed documents handing four Cambodian provinces to Vietnam yesterday. Rainsy’s act is illegal and against the Constitution of Cambodia. It is clearly a treacherous act", stated Khieu Sopheak.
Facebook of Cambodia National Rescue Party’s activist “Rithy Erng”, on Tuesday, leaked document and video of the agreement signed in 2013 between the former opposition leader Sam Rainsy and Kok Ksor, Leader of the Degar Indigenous People, to hand over four of Cambodia’s provinces, including Ratanakiri, Kratie, Mondulkiri and Stung Treng if the opposition party wins the election.
