Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 22 - The 4th Mandate Senate Election will take place in 33 offices nationwide to serve 11,695 voters, according to National Election Committee’s (NEC) announcement on Thursday.

The polling will start from 7:00 (seven) in the morning until 15:00 (fifteen) on February 25, 2018, according to the announcement.

According to the Law on Senate Election, the Senate shall compose of as many as half of the entire members of the National Assembly; two Senators shall be appointed by His Majesty the King; two Senators shall be elected in comparative majority by the National Assembly; other Senators shall be selected by non-universal, indirect and by means of secret ballot.
