Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 20 – The Senate enacted the Draft Amendments on Constitution; Draft Criminal Code Amendment related to Lèse-majesté; Draft Amendment on the Organization and Functioning of Constitutional Council; Draft Law on the Approval of the Agreement on the Promotion of Trade Facilitation and Cambodia-Vietnam-Laos Development Triangle.

The enactment was made on Wednesday at the 11th session of the third mandate, presided over by Senate President Say Chhum.

These four draft laws have been submitted by the Royal Government of Cambodia in response to the needs of Cambodia's current situation and fill the gaps of the past challenges.

The National Assembly enacted these four drafts on Feb. 14, 2018.
