Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 26 – Immigration police in collaboration with Commissariat of Phnom Penh Municipal Police and Preah Sihaouk Provincial Police arrested 36 foreigners relating to drug and illegal settlement on Friday.
Uk Hai Sela, Head of Investigation Department of General Department of Immigration, said that among the 36 foreigners, 17 people are women. They are Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Italian. Some either have no passport or expired visa. Others abused drug and committed transnational crime.
Following the arrest, those people have been sent to General Department of Immigration for further legal procedures and deportations.
