Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 25 – Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MoAFF) profited $700,000 from fisheries sector in 2017, according to the annual report of MoAFF released on Thursday.

The report emphasized that in 2017, the export of fresh fisheries product reached 8,500 tons and refined fisheries products reached 4,500 tons.

In 2017, authority cracked down 3,925 crimes of illegal fisheries with 3,888 cases in the freshwater bodies and 37 cases in the sea.
