New Delhi, India (FN), Jan. 25 - After visiting Center for Indian Technology Development, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that India is advanced in technology, and Cambodia can learn to become an e-government and e-people.

According to the premier, India is currently using e-health that manages patience health data; e-Sign manages identity and data transfer; e-Office manages human resources and general administration.

NERS manages and responds to emergency cases, help farmers select fertilizers for proper farmland to obtain high yields and create markets to sell farmer’s products; and e-Education that facilitates the study of students in the country. India also has digital voting system. These technologies has profited India $6 billion.

PM Hun Sen has always urged government officials to sharpen the ability to utilize modern technology to speed up the work.

The premier expressed the ambition to see Cambodians are specialized in technology too, as technology will help boost the country's development.

The premier also highlighted the longstanding relationship between Cambodia and India, for India was the first democracy country that reunited with Cambodia after liberated from the Khmer Rouge.

"India and Cambodia have been well-connected for thousands of years, including business, trade, culture, arts, culture, literature and religion,” Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

“The diplomatic relations between our two countries were re-established in 1981 after we liberated the Pol Pot regime,” he added.

On Wednesday, Prime Hun Sen led a delegation to attend the ASEAN-India Summit and the 69th Republic Day Celebration.

The summit and celebration are held from January 25-27, 2018 in New Delhi, India.
