Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 24 - Cambodia received over 5,602,157 international tourists in 2017, an increase of 11.8% compared to 2016, with Chinese tourists ranked the first, according to an official report released by the Ministry of Tourism on January 24, 2018.
The report indicated that in 2017, 1.2 million Chinese visited Cambodia, followed by 835,355 Vietnamese, 502,219 Lao, 394,934 Thai, 345,081 Korean, 256,544 American, 203,373 Japanese, 179,316 Malaysian, 171,162 British, 166,356 French, and 59,571 Indian tourists.
Meanwhile, 1,752,269 Cambodian visitors visited foreign countries in 2017, an increase of 22.2% compared to 2016.
